Client Security MySecureID's authentication process provides the consumer with absolute confidence and a complete sense of security by giving the user full control of all aspects of their identity on-line.
the MSkey, in conjunction with the MySecureID data center, assures the consumer that their personal data and financial information is never revealed during transactions. The security of consumer personal data and financial information transmitted between the MySecureID data center and the legitimate and highly secure Gateways, Banks and other institutions is ensured since the information does not pass from the consumer's computer to the merchant to the appropriate institution. This eliminates the ability to intercept sensitive data at the various locations within the the data's journey. Commercial institutions adopting the MySecureID solution will be implementing a new business paradigm, that uses encrypted data and one time package encryption. As well, sensitive consumer data will not be shared with the merchant. Using this model ensures the security of the client's data and provides the merchant with absolute identification of the consumer. Currently, during transaction processing data is passed from the consumer's PC to the merchant and from there to the gateway, processor or bank. This allows for data interception by fraudsters at several locations during the data transmission. It also gives merchants access to sensitive consumer data thus increasing the chance of possible fraud. Password Management Once the consumer has registered with the MySecureID data center they can use the USB key to store and manage logon credentials in one secure device. By plugging in the MSkey and entering a PIN the user can then select the site required without having to enter a user name or password. Therefore the user needs to remember only one PIN in order to protect and use all passwords. The ability to provide effective password management to users, who are inundated with usernames and passwords, via a USB is a considerable advantage over other authentication methods. Consumer Applications With its ability to store software in addition to data, MSkey also offers numerous other consumer applications. These will include features such as access to favorites, calendar, password accounts, and e-mail accounts from anywhere with full confidence. The patented encryption of MSkey will protect the user's information from undesirable third parties while the portability of the USB authentication token, in the form of a keychain fob (token), allows the user secure and continuous access to the information.
